Google’s next Pixel hardware lineup may ask buyers to pay more at the door, according to pricing reports from Dealabs. The reported changes cover both phones and watches, and the less cute part is that some of the “increase” may come from removing cheaper configurations rather than adding anything obvious.
Dealabs reports that the 41mm Pixel Watch 5 could start at $399 for the Wi-Fi model, with the LTE version priced at $499. 9to5Google spotted the watch pricing report. For comparison, the Pixel Watch 4 started at $349 with Wi-Fi and $449 with LTE, so the reported 41mm prices would be $50 higher than last year’s versions.
The larger 45mm Pixel Watch 5 is also reported to be getting more expensive, though by a smaller amount. Dealabs says the Wi-Fi-only model may cost $429, while the LTE model may land at $529. Those figures would put each 45mm model $30 above the comparable Pixel Watch 4.
The Pixel 11 may lose its cheapest storage option
The phone side looks more like a storage reshuffle with a price bump attached. In a separate report, Dealabs says Google may stop offering a 128GB Pixel 11 in Europe. If that happens, the base Pixel 11 would start at 256GB of storage and cost €999.
That would be a higher entry price than the Pixel 10, which started at €899 with 128GB of storage. The awkward bit for buyers is that Dealabs also reports the 256GB Pixel 11 price may stay where the 256GB tier already was. In other words, Google would not necessarily be raising the price of that storage tier. It would be removing the cheaper front door.
Dealabs says the Pixel 11 Pro could start at €1,199. The Pixel 10 Pro started at €1,099, according to the report. As with the base Pixel 11, the reported 256GB pricing would remain unchanged even though the entry price goes up.
The higher-end models may see clearer price increases. Dealabs reports that the Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold could each rise by €100 across configurations. That would put their starting prices at €1,399 and €1,999, respectively.
Memory pressure is the obvious suspect
The reports have not been confirmed by Google, so treat the numbers as pre-launch pricing leaks rather than a price list carved into aluminum. Google has scheduled a Pixel launch event for August 12, when it is expected to introduce the new devices.
The pricing rumors fit a broader squeeze on memory and storage components. The Verge has reported that device makers have been dealing with a global shortage tied to increased demand from AI companies. Other hardware companies have already raised prices or cut some memory and storage configurations, according to that reporting.
A previous rumor also suggested Google may ship the Pixel 11 with 8GB of RAM instead of the Pixel 10’s 12GB, with the shortage again cited as the reason. If these reports line up, the Pixel 11 launch may be less about one isolated price hike and more about Google deciding how much of the component crunch to hand directly to customers.
