DoorDash customers looking for a cheaper order in July 2026 are being pushed through the usual coupon machinery: new-user codes, local promos, subscription discounts and cardholder perks. WIRED’s commerce team, which says its product picks are editorially selected but may generate affiliate compensation, lists several active DoorDash offers and the small-print constraints that matter before anyone starts treating a promo field like found money.

The best straight coupon offers are aimed at first-time DoorDash customers. WIRED lists an $8 discount on orders of $25 or more at participating restaurants, a code for as much as $25 off a first order of $30 or more, and 25 percent off a first alcohol delivery. The code WIRED highlights for those new-user savings is USDASHTRIAL2Q26.

WIRED also lists an exclusive code, USEG15OFF2Q26, for 15 percent off a first DoorDash order. That offer is capped at $10 in savings, requires a $15 minimum order and does not apply to alcohol orders, according to WIRED.

Existing customers get the less glamorous but useful deals

DoorDash’s own promo system is more location-specific than a universal coupon page suggests. WIRED points customers to DoorDash’s Deals section and promos page, where offers rotate by delivery address and participating merchant. Listed examples include 25 percent off an entire order, $5 off $20, 30 percent off lunchtime delivery, and a limited-time 30 percent discount for existing customers capped at $8.

Some offers are built as restaurant promotions rather than account-wide coupons. WIRED lists buy-one-get-one entree deals and free-appetizer offers tied to a $15 spend, with savings described as reaching up to $35. DoorDash also shows some eligible orders with $0 delivery fees, free items, food discounts, grocery deals and DashPass-only offers, according to WIRED.

DashPass is where the recurring discounts sit

DoorDash’s student pricing cuts DashPass to $4.99 per month or $48 annually, according to WIRED and DoorDash’s help page. Students have to verify their status through SheerID. DashPass itself is DoorDash’s subscription product for $0 delivery fees from eligible restaurants and other benefits.

Chase cardholders have a separate route. DoorDash says eligible Chase credit cards can unlock benefits for DoorDash and Caviar accounts. WIRED lists the current Chase-linked offer as three months of DashPass free, followed by 50 percent off the next nine months.

DoorDash is also adding in-app discovery and dine-in rewards

The coupon page also points to product changes DoorDash announced. Its Going Out program is starting in New York City and Miami, letting customers book restaurant reservations inside the DoorDash app. DoorDash says diners can earn offers for in-person visits, and DashPass members get additional in-store perks. DoorDash claims customers save an average of $9 when using those perks.

DoorDash is also adding short-form creator videos inside the app in Atlanta, Austin, Miami and San Francisco, with a broader rollout planned through the end of the year, according to DoorDash. The pitch is familiar platform logic: show users food videos before they order so they can judge preparation style and portion size. DoorDash is also launching DoorDash Dot, a delivery robot, according to WIRED.

For workers, WIRED lists the DoorDash Crimson Card as a way for Dashers to receive pay after each delivery without deposit fees, get cash back on purchases and manage finances in the Dasher app. DoorDash also advertises Dasher discounts across gas, auto care, health benefits, phone plans and tax tools.
