Google’s Pixel 11 event 2026 is scheduled for August 12 at 6 p.m. ET, or 3 p.m. PT, with a livestream expected on YouTube. The company has teased new Pro and foldable Pixel phones, but the event’s buyer-relevant details, especially prices, configurations and release dates, are still under wraps.
Google has also put Trevor Noah in the host’s chair, according to 9to5Google. That is presentation polish. The more consequential question is how Google will price its hardware as it says supplier-driven memory costs are forcing changes across the Pixel family.
What has Google confirmed for the Pixel 11 event?
Google has publicly previewed a conventional Pro phone and a foldable model in promotional material, The Verge reported. It has not published a full list of products or confirmed detailed specifications before the event.
The clearest indication about pricing came from Shakil Barkat, Google’s vice president of Devices and Services. In an interview reported by 9to5Google, Barkat said the whole Pixel family would receive price “adjustments” that would be applied dynamically as supply conditions change. He cited a supplier-driven memory crisis and said Google would disclose Pixel 11 pricing at the August 12 announcement.
That statement covers more than the incoming phones. Google’s Pixel portfolio also includes its watches, though the company had not explained before the event how broadly price changes would apply to products already on sale.
Which Pixel devices are expected on August 12?
Pre-event reporting points to four phones: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Those names remain expectations rather than Google-confirmed announcements. The Verge reported that leaked imagery suggests a design close to the Pixel 10 generation, with changes including a dark camera bar.
Google’s own teaser showed a light on the Pixel 11 Pro camera bar, but did not say what it does. Code found by 9to5Google in the Contacts app reportedly refers to a feature called HiLight and suggests caller-specific color settings. Treat that as leak-derived evidence, not a product specification. Reports connecting the light to Gemini are also unconfirmed.
Likewise, a Tensor G6 processor, possible manufacturing on TSMC’s 2nm process, storage changes and reported RAM configurations have all circulated in leak reporting. Google has not confirmed those details. One leak-based report suggested an entry Pro configuration could have less RAM than its predecessor, a particularly awkward possibility given the company’s stated effort to reduce Android and app memory requirements.
What else could Google announce?
A Pixel Watch 5 is widely expected, but remains unannounced. The Verge also reported expectations for a new color of existing earbuds and a possible item tracker comparable in purpose to Apple’s AirTag. Those products belong in the rumor column until Google puts them on stage.
One scheduling wrinkle may settle early. The Verge noted that a Pixel 11 preorder countdown on Google Store was due to end at 10 a.m. ET on August 12, eight hours before the formal event. That could mean product information or ordering becomes available ahead of the livestream, though it does not establish that Google will reveal every detail then.
For prospective buyers, the useful checklist is short: the final device list, storage and memory tiers, starting prices, preorder terms, availability dates, trade-in offers and whether price adjustments reach older Pixel devices. Google has acknowledged the pricing pressure. It has not yet supplied the numbers that determine whether any configuration shuffle is a trade-off or a sales pitch.
