Litter-Robot is offering discounts on several automatic litter box bundles this month, according to WIRED’s Molly Higgins, with savings reaching $150 on some packages and no promo code required. For cat owners eyeing one of these machines, the useful bit is that the discount sits on bundles rather than a checkout-code scavenger hunt.
Automatic litter boxes are expensive pet tech, and Litter-Robot’s machines sit in the premium end of that market. WIRED says its reviews team recommends automatic litter boxes broadly for cat owners who can afford them, and Higgins identifies Litter-Robot as the strongest option among the models she has tested. WIRED also discloses that it may receive compensation from retailers or purchases made through its links, so treat the deal framing as commerce coverage, not a public service announcement from the Department of Cat Waste.
What the current discounts cover
According to WIRED, Litter-Robot has multiple bundles discounted by as much as $150. The bundles pair the automatic litter box with accessories owners would otherwise buy separately, such as a litter-trapping mat, replacement waste bags, odor eliminators and litter.
The discounted bundle lineup includes packages built around the Litter-Robot 4, as well as newer Litter-Robot 5 and Litter-Robot EVO models, WIRED reports. The main mechanic is boring but useful: buy the machine with accessories, get the bundle discount, skip the coupon field.
Litter-Robot 4 remains WIRED’s pick
Higgins says she has tested more than a dozen automatic litter boxes, including several from Litter-Robot, and still favors the Litter-Robot 4. Her reasons are practical rather than mystical: the connected app is described as straightforward, the waste drawer is easy to remove, the top buttons allow manual controls, and the unit does not take up a large amount of floor space.
That matters because this category can get overdesigned fast. A litter box that needs an app should at least make the app tolerable.
The newer 5 Pro adds a camera
WIRED says the Litter-Robot 5 Pro Insights Bundle is currently listed at $999, a $152 discount. The bundle includes the Litter-Robot 5 Pro, a built-in camera, a litter-tracking mat and waste drawer liners.
The camera is the headline hardware change described by WIRED. It lets owners see activity inside and outside the box. Whether that is pet-health visibility or a subscription-age monument to oversurveillance depends on the household, but the feature is present in the 5 Pro model WIRED tested.
WIRED also reports that Litter-Robot offers a 90-day in-home trial, a one-year warranty and free shipping to the lower 48 states.
The EVO bundle is the cheaper new option
The Litter-Robot EVO Starter Bundle is listed at $782, or $50 off, according to WIRED. That package includes waste drawer liners, a litter trap mat, a bag of litter and odor traps.
WIRED describes the EVO as a more basic, compact model compared with the camera-equipped 5 Pro. For buyers who want the machine to handle waste without adding a video feed of bathroom behavior, the EVO is the less feature-stuffed option in the current deal set.
