Ulta promo codes in July 2026 are built around a handful of actual savings paths: a 20 percent single-item coupon, app and text sign-up codes, rewards-point redemptions and rotating sale pages, according to WIRED’s shopping roundup and Ulta’s linked offer terms.
The most broadly useful offer listed is code SCORE, which gives 20 percent off one qualifying Ulta Beauty item through August 1. WIRED says the code works in stores, online and in the Ulta app. In stores, shoppers can show the code on a phone or bring a printed copy. Online and in-app, the code has to be entered at checkout, because apparently the robot cart still needs to be told what a coupon is.
The SCORE offer includes some prestige and fragrance items, but it is not a blank check. WIRED points readers to Ulta’s fine print and lists exclusions including The Salon at Ulta Beauty, ear piercing, Ulta Beauty purchases through third-party marketplaces, cash redemptions and gift cards.
What Ulta promo codes are working in July 2026?
SCORE: 20 percent off one qualifying item through August 1, usable in store, online and in the Ulta app, with exclusions.
APP15: 15 percent off a next purchase after downloading the Ulta app by texting “Beauty” to 95637, according to WIRED.
Text signup code: 10 percent off an online order after texting “ULTA” to 95637. WIRED says this is a one-time-use code and excludes some brands, including Chanel, and Black Friday deals.
Ulta’s app is also pitched as more than a coupon inbox. WIRED says the app includes GLAMlab virtual try-on tools, a Foundation Matcher for shade matching, AI-powered skin analysis for skin-care recommendations, a barcode scanner for ingredient and review checks, and access to rewards status and points.
How do Ulta Beauty Rewards points work?
Ulta Beauty Rewards is free to join, according to WIRED. Standard members earn 1 point per dollar spent, Platinum members earn 1.25 points per dollar and Diamond members earn 1.5 points per dollar. Platinum status requires $500 in annual spending, while Diamond requires $1,200.
WIRED lists the redemption ladder as $3 off for 100 points, $8 off for 250 points, $17.50 off for 500 points and $30 off for 750 points. The same roundup says birthday-month benefits include extra points on qualifying purchases, a free gift, and a $10 coupon for Platinum and Diamond members. Diamond members also get full-size gifts, a $25 beauty-services discount and free shipping on orders over $25.
There is one caveat worth checking inside your own account: WIRED’s rewards section says points do not expire after activation through the Ulta Beauty app, while its FAQ says points typically expire at year-end if unused. That is the kind of loyalty-program fog that makes a screenshot of your balance a decent survival tool.
Can Ulta coupons be stacked?
WIRED says Ulta generally allows one coupon per transaction. Reward point redemptions can often be used with a separate promo code, but coupons usually cannot be combined with other coupons.
For shoppers hunting bigger markdowns, WIRED points to Ulta’s Featured Deals and Sale pages, plus recurring events such as 21 Days of Beauty. The roundup highlights beauty tech and hair tools that often appear in Ulta’s discount sections, including Dyson hair tools, Shark styling tools, the L’Oreal Professionnel AirLight Pro, T3 Aire IQ, Ghd Duet Style and Bio Ionic Smart-X Dryer.
WIRED also flags red-light and skin-care devices as sale-watch items at Ulta, including the Shark Beauty CryoGlow LED Mask, Therabody TheraFace Mask Glo and Solawave 4-in-1 Radiant Renewal Wand. For online orders, Ulta’s standard free-shipping threshold is $35. WIRED says Ulta does not currently offer standing student, military or health-care worker discounts.
