Verizon is pushing a July 2026 slate of wireless and home internet promotions that can cut the advertised cost of phones, plans and streaming bundles, according to a WIRED roundup by Molly Higgins and Verizon deal pages linked from it. The catch, as usual with carrier math, is that many of the biggest discounts arrive as bill credits over 36 months rather than an instant markdown.
The carrier’s offers center on getting customers into unlimited plans, adding new lines, or bundling mobile service with home internet. WIRED says Verizon’s 4G LTE network reaches 99% of the U.S. population, while its 5G coverage is described as expanding and around 13%. Verizon markets the network as “Network America Relies On,” which is branding, not an independent audit.
Phones advertised as free usually mean credits
Verizon is advertising up to $1,100 off some devices, including Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra and Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max, according to WIRED. The iPhone 16 Pro and Google Pixel 10 are listed with limited-time discounts of up to $800.
For switchers and plan upgraders, Verizon says some phones can be obtained with no trade-in required, including the iPhone 16 Pro, Pixel 10, Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25+. WIRED says the $1,100 savings is applied as credits across three years. That means the phone is “free” only if the customer keeps meeting the offer terms long enough for Verizon to issue the credits. Carrier promos do love making the calendar do the heavy lifting.
One iPhone 17 offer lists the phone at $0 per month for 36 months with 0% APR for well-qualified customers. WIRED says the retail price is $830, offset by a $23 monthly credit per device for 36 months. Taxes may appear at purchase or on the monthly bill, depending on delivery or store location.
Verizon is also advertising four iPhone 17, Pixel 10 or Galaxy S25 phones with four lines at $25 per line. Another family-style offer lists four iPhone 16 models at no cost with four Unlimited Welcome lines at $25 per line on Auto Pay. WIRED says online buyers can receive a $100 Verizon e-gift card if they make a smartphone purchase and add a new myPlan line online.
Plans, bundles and eligibility rules
The Unlimited Welcome plan is advertised at as low as $25 per line for four lines with Auto Pay, with unlimited talk, text and data and a three-year price lock. WIRED also highlights a Simplicity Plan starting at $30 per month for one line. That plan includes 5G Ultra Wideband, Verizon Dollars, unlimited data, talk and text, international roaming and satellite texting, 10 GB of hotspot data, call filtering and Verizon Family safety tools.
Verizon’s streaming offer lists up to 45% off selected services. For internet and mobile bundles, WIRED says new and existing customers can save up to $300 per year. New Verizon customers are told to buy the mobile plan first and then add home internet so the discount applies to the bill. Bundle options cited include YouTube TV, NFL Sunday Ticket, Netflix and Max with ads, and an Unlimited Plus option with Disney, Hulu and ESPN+.
- Students can get up to $12 off per month on a myPlan line and $20 off Fios Home Internet, according to WIRED.
- Military customers can get four Unlimited Welcome lines at $25 per month and Fios Home Internet at $30, with an extra $15 monthly bundle discount cited by WIRED.
- Nurses are listed as eligible for $25 or more off per month per line, with Fios Home Internet starting at $45.
- Teachers are also listed among groups with Verizon discounts, though WIRED does not provide a specific teacher dollar figure in the cited section.
Other promotions in the roundup include free overnight shipping on some phone offers, a Samsung 43-inch Class Q7F QLED TV listed as worth $400 for customers switching to Verizon internet this winter, and $90 off OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro when buying a Samsung device.
